Biography
Dominique Stater has established herself as one of the leading American athletes in the Olympic iQFOiL class. Known for her determination and technical progression, Stater has steadily built her international résumé within the rapidly evolving foiling windsurfing discipline.
Her campaign highlights include a silver medal at the 2023 Pan American Games and victory at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, earning her place at the 2024 Olympic Games.
With valuable Olympic experience now behind her, Stater continues refining her speed, consistency, and race execution as she works to climb into the top tier of the international iQFOiL fleet.
Watching Dominique grow as an athlete has been incredibly rewarding. She started as a very young sailor with limited international experience, and over time she has developed into a fully committed professional running a full Olympic campaign. Seeing the way she has improved, managed setbacks and adjusted her lifestyle to pursue performance at the highest level has been impressive. Being able to support that process and see the progress step by step is one of the most satisfying parts of coaching.
