Biography

Riley Gibbs is one of the most experienced American sailors competing in high-performance sailing. His career has been defined by success across both Olympic and professional circuits.

Competing in the Olympic Nacra 17 class, Gibbs represented the United States at the 2020 Olympic Games, finishing seventh in one of the most competitive multihull fleets in Olympic history.

Now campaigning alongside Louisa Nordstrom, Gibbs is focused on building speed, consistency, and a partnership capable of competing at the front of the Nacra 17 fleet.

Riley’s journey through the top levels of the sport has built not just skill, but resilience and perspective. He’s stepping into this next phase with intention, combining experience, structure and belief in his process. It’s clear he’s ready to contend at the highest level.
