America One Racing WASZP Squad Update

Wasp Squad Builds Momentum After Hawaii Training Camp

The Wasp Squad recently wrapped up an energetic and highly productive training camp at the beautiful Kaneohe Bay Yacht Club in Oahu, Hawaii. Thanks to expert coaching provided through a collaboration with Quantum Racing, the team made major strides as they prepare for a busy season — including the 2025 WASZP Games in Weymouth, England.

Powered by Top Coaching

Sailors had access to world-class coaching from:

  • Tom Burnham, a five-time America’s Cup veteran with a deep background in high-performance racing and team development.

  • Ravi Parent, an accomplished multihull and foiling sailor and coach, who shared cutting-edge insights into boat handling, tactics, and race strategy.

Their experience and leadership made for an intense week of growth, focus, and high-level learning.

Coast-to-Coast Talent

The camp brought together sailors from across the Hawaiian Islands, the West Coast, and the East Coast — creating a coast-to-coast energy and pushing the squad to higher levels of performance. Training in Kaneohe Bay's unique and challenging conditions helped hone a full range of skills, from heavy-air foiling to light-air finesse.

Next Up: WASZP U.S. Nationals

The Wasp Squad rolls straight into the WASZP U.S. Nationals, set for next week in Annapolis, Maryland. With strong momentum from Hawaii, the team is ready to take on top national competition and fine-tune their performance as they head into a critical summer of racing.

Looking Ahead: Pensacola 2026

Building on the success of camps like in Hawaii, our Program will continue investing in our young talent and will expand support for domestic clinics and events across the U.S.
This ramp-up comes at the perfect time: the 2026 WASZP Games are officially coming to Pensacola, Florida in March 2026!
The opportunity to compete on home waters in a global championship is driving excitement and commitment across the squad — and America One Racing is proud to be helping lead the charge.

Stay tuned as the Wasp Squad continues their journey — with hard work, strong teamwork, and fast sailing all leading toward an exciting future!
