Biography
Paris Henken brings extensive experience and proven performance to the American Olympic sailing pipeline. Known for her speed, fearlessness, and a natural feel for skiff sailing, Henken has consistently demonstrated the talent and competitiveness required to perform at the highest levels of international racing.
Competing in the Olympic 49erFX class alongside Helena Scutt, Henken earned a bronze medal at the 2015 Pan American Games and represented the United States at the 2016 Olympic Games, finishing tenth in a highly competitive fleet.
Now returning to the Olympic campaign trail, Henken combines speed and championship-level experience as she and Scutt build momentum toward the next Olympic cycle.
Paris has an instinctive feel for speed that you can’t teach. But what truly sets her apart is the fire she brings to competition. Every time she steps on the water, there’s intent, hunger and belief. She’s channeling that edge into sharper, more consistent execution; and when it clicks, she’s incredibly difficult to beat.
