Charlotte Rose Wins 2025 ILCA 6 North Americans Building Momentum Toward LA 2028

America One Racing Project Podium athlete Charlotte Rose claimed victory at the 2025 ILCA 6 North American Championship, hosted by Alamitos Bay Yacht Club, marking another key milestone in her steady rise toward the top of international singlehanded sailing.

The win comes on the heels of another strong performance at the ILCA 6 World Championship in China, where Charlotte demonstrated consistency and resilience against the world’s best. Her results continue to reflect the progress she’s made through structured training, international racing exposure, and a clear focus on long-term development.

The North American Championship held particular importance, as the event took place on the very waters that will host the sailing competition at the 2028 Olympic Games. Charlotte’s familiarity and success in these conditions represent a meaningful step in her campaign toward LA 2028.

“Charlotte’s recent win clearly reflects her dedication to continual growth and development,” said Nick Thompson, Charlotte’s coach. “She’s focused on long-term improvement rather than short-term results, continually refining her technique, race strategy, and mindset. For her, every regatta is a step forward in her Olympic campaign. Winning in Long Beach is simply a rewarding outcome of her commitment to the process.”

Charlotte and her fellow Project Podium athletes benefit from a comprehensive support system at America One Racing, designed to develop their skills, build confidence, and prepare them to excel on the Olympic stage.
